Afrika Bambaataa l'un des précurseur du rap dans cette musique nous livre une critique totale de la société et plus particulièrement de la guerre et de la destruction du monde comme le titre l'indique : "World destruction". Malgré son instrumentale plutôt rock, il nous montre à quel point le monde cours à sa perte. Par exemple quand il dit :"Countries are fighting with chemical warfare. Not giving a damn about the people who live." il dénonce les guerres chimiques (bombes...) et le manque d’intérêt pour les innocents qui subissent ces guerres. Il parle aussi de la télé et les films pour "brainwash" donc qui fait un lavage de cerveau. La répétition de la phrase :"This is a world destruction, your life ain't nothing." qui signifie "Ceci est une destruction du monde, votre vie n'est pas rien." accentue et rythme la chanson. Il dénonce aussi les classes sociales en disant que les riches deviennent plus riches et les pauvres deviennent encore plus pauvres ainsi que les religions qui se battent pour savoir laquelle est supérieur. En clair, tout comme Orelsan et Bigflo et oli, Afrika Bambaataa des années plus tôt dénonce la société à travers son texte.
